Cooling Tower

When the initial investment is the main criteria for acquiring an industrial water cooling system, the cooling towers represent the best option. They occupy a reduced space and, with a good preventive maintenance, they have a long useful life. The Mecalor crosscurrent towers constructive conception, allied to the efficient drop retainer and the fully closed basin, practically eliminates the controllable water losses. In the conventional countercurrent towers, the water loss by drops drag, and the leakage by drops through the air inlets may reach 3% of the water flow. In the Mecalor crosscurrent towers, as the losses are smaller, the need for the water replacement and treatment is significantly reduced.

Highlights:

  • Crosscurrent concept reduces the losses by drag.
  • Closed basin reduces the losses by drops.
  • Self-supporting glass fiber structure with UV inhibitor.
  • Patented filling of polypropylene trapezoid grids blocks.
  • Dismountable drops retainer with high efficiency wave profile.
  • Ventilator spades, cube and support with corrosion-resistant materials.
  • Full supply of the tower, pumps, electrical, electrical panel, and interconnection pipes.
  • Water temperature controlled by the ventilator rotation modulation (optional).
