TermoChiller Flexo

The modern flexographic machines may deposit up to 12 colors on a plastic film. The central cylinder temperature should be maintained with precision at about 30°C in order to guarantee the printing quality independently of the climatic conditions. The film with the transferred ink pellicle undergoes a drying process in an oven. In order to reach the high productions, it is necessary to cool the film by means of the cooling cylinders in which circulates cold water. Mecalor, that supplies flexographic machines to all manufacturers operating in Brazil, has developed the ThermoChiller FLEXO specifically to meet these two needs in single equipment.

Highlights:

  • Projected and tested in flexographic printers of different origins.
  • Cylinder water temperature control of 20°C to 60°C with precision of ±0.5°C.
  • Cylinders water temperature control of 5°C to 20°C with precision of ±1.0°C.
  • Operation in room temperature of up to 40°C for the air condensation (or up to 50ºC under consultation).
  • Control by CLP with semi-graphic IHM with full operation and failures signaling.
  • Water flow and pressure in each circuit, optimized for the flexographic.
  • Precise control by means of motorized proportional valves.
  • Stainless steel Grundfos pumps.
  • Corrosion-resistant materials in contact with water.
  • Automatic water repositioning.
  • Reduced dimensions for the installation on the flexographic.
  • Extremely easy maintenance.
