Laminators
The plastic films laminators are equipments with the purpose of uniting two films of different characteristics to form a single material, which will be the final product of this process. Generally we are talking about a plastic film of various colors, shapes, drawings and a laminated film, which are both coupled in these laminators in the form of coils to be processed. This process in itself consists of passing these two films at the same time by means of pairs of cylinders (generally one or two pairs) called the laminator cylinders. The union of these two films may be made by the own compression of these materials in a heating state, what makes them found on a single product. However, it is usually made with the use of a kind of hot glue/solvent, better known as hot-melt, which unites and fixes the two different products into a single one. Concerning the temperature control the lamination process needs a proper temperature control in these heating cylinders, which are responsible for the fusion of the products that are being processed. In addition, after the material lamination, it is necessary a cooling of this laminated film, generally for the glue fixation and so the final product can recover its initial characteristics and be reeled. This cooling is made by another (other) pair(s) of cylinders. Another interesting solution is the supply of double Thermoregulators, generally to take advantage of the cold water systems available in the customers and the operation with differentiated temperatures in the heating and cooling cylinders pairs.
